Commissioned by the Mudam Contemporary Art Museum in Luxembourg. The clients wanted to create an interactive event for their annual Nuit dei Musei. We organised a live sculpting event with Norwegian sculptor Jan Wannggard in which he carved an original piece out of a large solid block of soap. Off-cuts of usable soap were then collected and packaged into gift bags.
In conjunction with this event we curated a separate showing of smaller soap sculptures in the museum’s main gallery space.
